Conocer como Ser


¿Cual es el conocimiento que nos permite conocer todas las demás cosas? La pregunta es del Upanishad. La respuesta es: el conocimiento del Ser, Atman, en la terminología del sánscrito. No se trata de conocer un axioma fundamental del que se deriva cualquier conocimiento, sino de la idea de conocer al conocedor: si conoces al que conoce, conoces cuanto pueda conocer. Pero ¿cómo conocemos al sujeto fundamental si por definición, el sujeto es lo que no es objetibable y por tanto no cognoscible? La respuesta es sencilla: siendo ese sujeto, es decir, siendo el Ser. Es tan simple como ser lo que somos, y para ello no hay que hacer nada, ya está hecho, y sigue haciéndose. ¿Por qué entonces sigo desconociendo todas las cosas? ¿Por qué, por ejemplo, la estructura fundamental de la materia me sigue siendo desconocida y sólo tengo teorías cambiantes? Porque el artífice de esas teorías (la comunidad científica) es un pseudo-sujeto, y sólo obtiene representaciones fraccionarias, siempre incompletas, siempre a punto de dar la respuesta cuando aparece algo nuevo en el sistema teórico que lleva el horizonte de conocimiento un poco más lejos, asintóticamente. El nudo sólo se deshace siendo Atman, y desde allí, dejando venir la pregunta. Esto sería conocer como ser, un fundamento epistemológico distinto al de nuestras ciencias.
